Video: Charles Barkley Gives The 'Dougie' A (im)Proper Burial

At some point it had to put to rest. But not before TNT analyst and NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley gives us his rendition of the dance that's all too popular with the kids (and adults) these days. I apologize in advance...



Remember kids, Charles Barkley is not a role model.

I said it before; as long as there is a camera and music around, the dougie will never die. But Chuck's version... I'm speechless.

Video: John Wall & Chris Brown 'Dougie' Battle

Looks like John Wall is healthy after all. Here's video of the Washington Wizards rookie PG hittin' his dougie in a battle against R&B star and dancing phenom Chris Brown at a club in DC. If you remember, Wall put on quite a dougie show during introductions for his first home game (video here).




Nothing wrong with two 21-year-old kids having a little fun on New Year's Eve. And because this is a SPORTS blog I won't comment on Breezy's twitter beef last week though... Hope JW11 can stay healthy the rest of the season and give us fans a lot of nice plays on the court.

Video: You Ain't Messin' With Drew Stanton's Dougie

At some point the dougie needed to be retired, and I think Detroit Lions 3rd string QB Drew Stanton (yes you read that correctly, 3rd string) may have been just the player to send it into flatline status. Here's video:



Somewhere Doug. E. Fresh is rolling over in his grave, and he's still alive and quite well. This will be the most google hits Drew Staton will probably ever get so I can't be too mad at him.

Video: NBA/NFL "All-Dougie Team"

There is an interesting craze running through professional sports surrounding the popular dance move of the year "the Dougie". (see here for rookie John Wall hittin' his)... If you aren't hip to it, the "Dougie" was first originated by MC Dougie Fresh back in the 80's. Now everybody is doing it. So we at LTSB have compiled a list of the 2010 "All Dougie Team" featuring pro athletes, just for kicks and giggles and also your viewing enjoyment. Thank us later (no Drake)...
